For more than three decades I have provided professional, confidential and skilled counseling for individuals, couples and families from all walks of life presenting a myriad of concerns.
My therapeutic approach is to strengthen healthy behaviors and coping mechanisms while supportively challenging clients to recognize and understand destructive patterns of thinking and relating. I believe therapy is an effective method to stop the downward progression of poor life patterns by helping clients experience improved communication, problem solving, life strategies and emotional strength.
From adolescence through end of life challenges, my wide range of experience and expertise allow me to focus treatment to your specific issues using methods that complement your unique personality.
In addition to my work as a therapist, I also supervised Clinical Social Work interns for 15 years and taught at the University of Utah and Baker Community College. While in California I served on the State Board of Behavioral Sciences as an examiner for candidates seeking a Clinical Social Work license.
I am confident that growth and change are possible for everyone. I welcome your call as the beginning of your own transformation.
